Opera Naxos invites you to its inaugural concert: Opera Tastings, a one-of-a-kind sensory celebration where the richness of operatic music is paired with the unique flavors of Naxian wine and cheese.
Join us under the summer sky at the Saint Anna Winery for an evening of exceptional artistry and local flavor. Internationally acclaimed soprano Myrtò Papatanasiu, tenor Alexander Gmeinder, and Greek-American baritone Evan Bravos will present a curated program of arias spanning the operatic canon—each selected to complement a tasting led by celebrated sommelier Manolis Petrakis.
About Opera Naxos
Founded by baritone Evan Bravos, Opera Naxos is a new cultural initiative rooted in heritage, hospitality, and the transformative power of music. As a descendant of the Linardos, Sofikitos and Vernikos families of Sangri, Bravos returns to the island not just as an artist, but as a native son—launching this project to honor and enliven the artistic spirit of his ancestral home.
Following a 2017 recital at the Kampanelis Museum in Chora, this summer marks the first step toward building a lasting operatic presence on Naxos. Whether you are a longtime opera lover or a newcomer to the art form, we invite you to share in this special beginning.
